"Tell us about your guiltiest pleasure."
Digging Deeper
Crys Matthews    www.reverbnation.com/crysmatthews
My guiltiest pleasure is probably cooking. I'm a southerner, so I always cook with lots of love. I cook for my fiancee, my friends, and my family every chance I get. My pallet is a more well-traveled than I am, so I love to cook every thing from Shepherd's Pie to gnocchi to shrimp-n-grits. If I'm not writing, practicing, or touring I'm probably in the kitchen, or thinking up a new spin on one of my favorite dishes.

Bluelight - Press Release
New Video - Do What You Want

What would you do if your newly wed wife announced a few months after your wedding she was going to become a man?
More than likely do what Bluelight lead singer Andréa Hector did: have a great big meltdown

What would you do if your band mate told you she was having a great big meltdown?
Do what the other half of the duo Lin Gardiner did and tell her to channel it all into a song, of course.

Boomsmack Records is pleased to announce the release of Vancouver band Bluelight’s latest video, ‘Do What You Want’, a song that documents Hector’s initial reaction to the bombshell dropped on her soon after her big day.

The serious lyrical inspiration for the song is ironically contrasted by Bluelight’s playful performance, with the band choosing to laugh in the face of adversity, put their tongues in their cheeks and, well, dress up a bit. The video’s colourful, ever-changing kaleidoscope of images is held together by the song’s electronic pulse and big sweeping
synth hooks, a trademark of Gardiner’s production.

This visual feast for the eyes was produced and directed by the hugely talented and highly innovative Jonathan Krauth and the Green Couch Productions team, who are
currently making waves amongst Canada’s music community as the go-to team for all things ubercool.

‘Do What You Want’ is the lead track from Bluelight’s recently released debut album ‘On The Edge’ available at all usual online outlets.

Maor ft.TRIGGA - Press Release
New Video - Long Way Home

If you think the two have slowed down any…. think again. Recording Artist/Producer MAOR has cleverly introduced a ballad type of tune named “Long Way Home” featuring once again the collaborating artist T.R.I.G.G.A with his seemingly automatic stamp to MAOR’s vocals that fit the new song perfectly.

These two artist have focused the message on anti-gay bullying, bullying, and discrimination by means of a music video that is sure to continue getting peoples attention on the worldwide matter. With a worthwhile video leading the charge and talks of a full album nearly done with new music and U.S. dates coming, looks to be a long time coming for these two artist in the music industry.

The collaborating Pop, HipHop duo of MAOR featuring T.R.I.G.G.A are once again geared up to give you more great music. The two artist have carved a niche in the music industry of feeding off each others style in which MAOR the singer, writer, producer blends his smooth vocal ability over electro-pop beats and rhythms to seasoned hiphop artist T.R.I.G.G.A’s meaningful catchy rhymes.  With the two frequently releasing new music on their own in the past before meeting, it seems like a match made in heaven considering these two together have released music on the dance scene all over the world from the U.S. to Canada and as far east to Israel.  The two artists hit the UK in Vancouver for pride in front of over 90,000 attendees and they were very welcoming to the rained out city with a hit from the two called “Victory (No More Rain)”.  Along the lines of being in the same festival as Ace of Base and Dragonette right down the street, they closed the year by opening up for one of the biggest dance queens to date in Boston, for former billboard artist Crystal Waters.

Coming out kind of makes you leave a lot of guilt behind, so I've tried to live a guilt free life as much as possible.  :)
BUT -- things I definitely enjoy and bring me pleasure are (in no particular order...):  lounging on the couch with my baby watching movies or old tv episodes, ice-cream and pizza, comic books, staying up late and sleeping in, and our pug, 'Zoe'.

I'd have to say it's sitting in my favorite sunny corner with my feet on my favorite ottoman reading a great novel or inspiring spiritual book.
Also, I'd have to agree with Shawn - I love sitting on my couch with Marlee watching past TV shows on our MacBook (we don't have a TV) and eating whatever comes my way.
